Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Lifetime Custom Painting Inc. (“Lifetime Custom Painting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information collected through our website at lifetimecustom.com(the “Site”), through our online forms, through SMS communications, and in connection with our residential and commercial painting services.
By using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code you submit through an estimate request or contact form.
- Project details you volunteer — whether the property is residential or commercial, the type of work (interior, exterior, cabinets, and so on), and your timeline.
- Any additional information you provide during SMS, email, or telephone communications with our team.
- Your mobile phone number if you opt in to receive SMS messages from us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size).
- Page interaction data (pages viewed, time on site, referring URLs, and which links and buttons you click).
- Marketing attribution signals such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers — Google (gclid), Meta (fbclid), Microsoft (msclkid), and TikTok (ttclid) — passed through the URL when you arrive from an advertisement or referral.
- The referring website or search engine that brought you to the Site, including referrals from AI search assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, and Claude.
- Cookies and browser local storage, which we use to remember the first and most recent source of your visit so we can understand which marketing channels bring people to our business.
- Session recording and heatmap data via Microsoft Clarity, which captures anonymised recordings of how visitors move through our pages. Clarity masks text typed into form fields and other sensitive input.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to estimate requests, schedule appointments, and provide information about our painting services.
- To deliver customer support and communicate with you about ongoing work.
- To send SMS updates, reminders, and offers related to our services, where you have opted in.
- To improve the Site and the user experience through analytics.
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and understand which channels bring visitors to the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
3. SMS communications
SMS opt-in
By providing your mobile phone number through our website forms or in direct communication with our team, and affirmatively checking the SMS consent box (it is never pre-checked), you agree to receive text messages from Lifetime Custom Painting at that number. These messages may include estimate confirmations, appointment reminders, project updates, and occasional promotional offers. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Full details are in our SMS Terms.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. We do not charge a fee for our SMS messages.
Opt-out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out you will no longer receive promotional messages, though we may still send transactional messages directly related to active or recently requested work. For assistance, reply HELP to any SMS, or contact us at (619) 591-9936 or info@lifetimecustom.com.
SMS consent and third parties
Your SMS consent and mobile phone number are not shared, sold, or rented to third parties for their marketing purposes. We share your mobile number only with the messaging platform that delivers our messages on our behalf, which is contractually bound to use it solely for that purpose.
4. Cookies, tracking, and third-party services
We use cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Remember your preferences across visits.
- Record marketing attribution — the first and most recent source of a visit — so we can understand which channels produce enquiries.
- Operate analytics and measure Site performance.
Specific services we use
Our Site uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect data subject to its own privacy policy:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) — website analytics, attribution measurement, and conversion tracking.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session recording and heatmap analysis. Clarity masks sensitive input fields.
- HighLevel — customer relationship management, estimate-request processing, appointment booking, and SMS delivery.
- Google Maps and Google Places — the map on our contact page and the Google reviews shown on our site.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, and offer a “do not track” setting. Analytics and session recording rely on cookies and local storage, so blocking them will stop that measurement. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from browsing the Site, requesting an estimate, or contacting us. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new window).
5. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers — trusted vendors that help us operate, including our CRM, SMS delivery provider, website hosting, and analytics services. These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lifetime Custom Painting, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections in this Policy.
6. Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights under California law
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights:
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, and the third parties with whom we have shared it.
- Right to delete — deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to limited legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Right to non-discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will not require you to create an account to make a request.
9. Children’s privacy
Our Site and services are directed to adults and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-party links
Our Site links to third-party websites such as Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Instagram. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a revision becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
