The right paint system for Santee homes

Santee is inland East County heat on largely 1960s-to-1980s tract housing. That combination points at one job: repair the hairline stucco cracking that fifty summers of expansion and contraction have opened up, then coat with a UV-stable system. Skipping the crack work is why so many Santee repaints look tired within two years.

Santee sits in the San Diego River valley well inland of the coast, so summers run hot and dry with strong, sustained sun and very little marine influence.
